Thank's, for another very good recording. Sound is top, but in the "Irish corner" (the bend just after the Irish Guard memorial) the winds seems to play around on many occasions. Not only you but some other recordings encounters wind noise there. The Pindos is a mountain range in western Macedonia, Greece. The Greek word "Πίνδος" should be transcribed to English as Pindos, not Pindus as Wikipedia does. The ο= omikron, sounds like our o, not our u, and the emphasis should be on the "ί" the iota letter. Finally, the aforementioned march played by a Greek band, kzitem.info/news/bejne/o2eO3WF_rH5kp2ksi=eI3-oOIMetBrLGlr if someone is interested.

Hi tram90, yes, with their high buildings and narrowness, both Sheet Street and the High Street seem to act as "funnels" for the wind. Where they meet, by the Irish Guard memorial, these 2 streams of wind must collide, and it can cause havoc with the audio.

Hello there Clive, it is a Greek March! Called "Pindos". It's been played quite a few times in the past Mounts by the Band.
