I have the Lomo version of the same bags. I think it’s easier to load/unload them by firstly clipping the top strap over the carry frame on my Himmy. That way, they hang whilst you can use both hands to do up the lower starts/clips without having to hold or support the bag itself. Simples 😊.

Thanks for the watch and the comment. Yes, I did look a bit of an amateur trying to get them on! Great tip!

Great vid! Are you not using the usb port under the clutch lever to your mobile on the Quad Lock? Took me a while to realise the later gen 411’s have one! 😎👍

@@davidsteward123 thanks for the watch and comment 👍🏻 Interesting, I didn’t think any of the 411 models came with a usb port. Although to be fair, when I bought it they weren’t sure it would have a tripper pod on it until the “opened the crate to check” 😆 so perhaps some slipped through with a usb port 🤔

Only time will show whether the bags are any good. Different weather and especially sunshine (UV rays) might have some negative influence. If they are in frequent use and they are after one year still more or less water proved and not starting to fall appart, then it is okay.

@@Gunther-rj1kk Thanks for the watch and comment 👍🏻 Very true! I say in the video I’m interested to see if over time the material starts to crack etc. I’ll be leaving them on the bike pretty much all the time so I’ll see! Might be worth a follow up video in a couple of months!

These are exactly replicas of the SW Motech bags which are probably 4 times the price. A bit fiddly to get on and off. I used mine on an Alps trip to hold waterproofs and security chains for easy access.

Thanks for the watch and comment. I agree, a little fiddly to get on and off. However, I will likely end up using them for items I need easy access to, like you did on your Alps trip 👍
