I have learnt that 'not all that glitters is gold' don't be desperate to be with someone beautiful physically if the soul is rotten. True love is not obsession, where someone is not allowed to leave the house because their spouse is so insecure. This wasn't love, the guy was a psycho.. .

Though people think that the many things that happen in the family are normal and traditional I never advocate beating of an adult. You're both adults none of you is a father or a mother to the other so displain doesn't apply here. Bad manners people stop this madness. Don't allow yourself to get to this point, kiura ruga. So so sad how men treat women, sorry for what you went through mum, your story is similar to mine,i wouldn't go to the toilet at night,he would tell me I should go at around 8,alafu nkienda salon nichelewe jioni hiyo ni vita ati nilikua umalaya, anavuruta twists zinangooka,so much pain😢,no one was supposed to look at me coz alikua anasema ati ni wanaume wangu,I also couldn't use a phone ati ni ya umalaya,I wouldn't wear a tight dress or a trouser juu ni za umalaya,he would come at night and gawanyisha watoi anasema wenye wako named after his mum and dad ni wake lakini mwenye nimename after my mum si wake ni wa umalaya, drama after drama, yaani jina Malaya was a my second name.I wouldn't even go to the market ati naonyesha wanaume matako,it was drama after drama, one day nilichapwa vibaya sana and didn't go back home coz I was tired of going home Everytime with my three kids,my son was 10,he asked me a very mature question, and I qoute "mum kai wimukigu atia nikii wikaga guku na baba ndakwendete"😢this really hit me,and I started digesting all these and I didn't even finish a month after that incidence,I left and never went back till today, but after four years in our separation he died coz of excessive drinking and some drugs. Its been 8 yrs down the line now and I have phobia in getting into another marriage,I don't see the need.

Just wondering why women would have such low self esteem to accept a man to treat them like shit in the name of "my husband" love yourself first so u don't have to put up with a man's shit, immediately a man starts mistreating u, he's no longer a his, he's your enemy. Start treating him as an enermy. If he puts a finger on u, hit him and leave.
