You KNOW the minute you add some whimsy, I'm gonna love it! "Gomphrena" is my word-for-the-day and the way it bobs around over the arrangement... YESSSSS. Cheers to you, Mark, and the {ahem} Peanut Gallery!

PS Don't tell Casey that you love Broom Corn because I didn't know what it was and I make him pull it out of the ground every year (yikes!).

PPS Tell Jason thanks for the flower info pop-ups ("Gomphrena"!) and also we couldn't hear the questions from the Peanut Gallery so we don't know what they're asking. Perhaps {ahem} I need to come sit in with them next time and teach them how to use their Outside Voices. hahahaha

Hahaha! Yes, gomphrena is a favorite of mine for sure! I tried to remember to repeat their questions so they would be better captured in the video, but obviously got caught up in the fun of having them there! Thank you so much for watching! Cheers! ❤️

Hahaha! You know I recently heard another designer refer to the broom corn as sorghum! How about that?!!?? ❤️

so glad I saw this on the recommended, as I hadn't checked my YT notifications. I'll have to go back to part 1 now to watch. I also have a narrow oval windowsill vase similar to this and love putting my dahlias in it this summer, in my kitchen. I totally believe in the container speaking to you. Have had some awesome arrangements with my vintage glass/Fenton this summer!

I am in charge of this year’s Thanksgiving centerpiece and look through your episodes. I thoroughly enjoy your episodes which are fun and something a total beginner like me can apply to the actual arrangements. I repeat some of the episodes like Ep 15 to learn the step by step arrangements. I also love the thin rectangular glass container shown in this EP 42. I wish you could present some day different arrangements in the same container in a series too so that we can feel the different effects, such as using the different mechanics (foliage vs green hydrangea) or different seasonal colors or arrangement shapes, etc. Thank you so much! Helen in NVA.

Hi there! Thank you so much for these lovely comments! I'm so glad you have found the videos useful and practical. I LOVE your idea of using the same container for different styles of arrangements and mechanics! I'm going to add that to my notes for future episodes! Thank you so much for watching ! Cheers!
