I got into this band in early 1978, I see how these three men are so humble, and are not full of themselves. I cannot thank these guys enough for the great music that they have made, and the inspiration of just being regular guys. How awesome is that. They don't think they are better, than anybody else. Just awesome people. THANK YOU RUSH for every inspiration you have given us.

I have been listening to RUSH and going to their concerts for over 30 years and I have been fascinated over and over by their philosophy, their professionalism, their down to earth goodness and their exceptional talent. Don't get me wrong, they are still human, but they can handle this interviewer's ineptness without any problem...TO RUSH: LIVE LONG AND PROSPER. sorry to quote Spock!

I am so pleased that one of the best bands ever, are proud Canadians we are so pleased that they stayed in Canada and state humble. You will occasionally run into one of them around the city, Alex and I frequent the same music store in a town north of Toronto and he will always find time to answer a few questions or maybe just an autograph, although I would never asking for one. Meaning? WOW - Neil has written some of the best poetry (Lyrics) existing, with a stand-alone value as classic literature on its own merit, outside of being a phenomenal drummer; not to overshadow the two musicians he had the tremendous luck to saddle up with - meaning? - what a gimme question.

John Roberts wasn't so much a dick in touching on Neil's personal tragedies. It's clearly of interest to fans. Where Roberts erred is not discussing the ground rules with Neil prior to the cameras rolling. It's clear the topic turned sour almost instantly and obviously no prep or considerations were put into the line of questioning. This casual approach might have something to do with Roberts history with the band that goes back 30 some years when John worked in Toronto.
@calebbartlett367

I personally didn't think it was bad that John brought up the dark times for Neil because he has had history with the band from back in the 80's and probably thought Neil would be comfortable enough to discuss some aspects of it!!
