Thanks dude you saved me $700 in labor I was quoted. Brake pedal clip is the 🔑. Push the arm behind it to the right for anyone watching this.

I was happy to see that job was pretty easy! l thought that I would have to pull the dash panels or something like that. So l have been procrastinating for months, and it's starting to get cold!! Looks like 1st thing in the morning I am going to fix my van!! Thank you!

It's morning and it took me longer to gather the tools than to do the removal and my tools are in a set!! The whole removal took less time than it did to watch the video!!

I have been putting this off for over a year. I'm old. Back in the day, you used to have to tear half the dash out to access the heater core. Scared I wouldn't be able to put my baby back together again. This looks easy af. I have heat as long as I put antifreeze in before I drive. It's just that smell in the cabin when I first turn on the heat. Man, I love the shit out of KZitem. Mechanics must hate the shit out of it.

Customers aren't as used or even as okay with having chemicals like coolant on them.. or smelling it. Especially on a van where kids will most likely be inside of. Not a bad job at all BUT you have got to keep that in mind when spilling coolant all over someone's interior like that.. a small drain pan or a small bowl can go a long waaaaay..

Thanks man. Mine has the power pedals in the 2005. Do I need to remove the whole pedals and the steering shaft to get the heater core out? Thanks.

Mine is the other version but it removes the same. I'm 6'1' and 300 lbs, this is going to be very difficult for someone my size.

How to remove that brake pin? You didn't show it.

I had to change my heater core too. What I did to avoid dropping the steering column or brake was to take a dremel tool and cut a "flap" in the heater box to easily pull out the core. Once replaced I just taped over the cuts. Quick and easy.

Yeah that it let Mr. Mec put coolant all over the interior. For crying out loud put a dam rag so the caravan is not full of coolant.
