Hey Phil... I subscribed and been watching but are way farther along that I am I have a 51' 3100. I tried to take note of how the grill is attached to the fenders et all but not seeing a good view of how I would remove just my grill so that I might refurbish it. Any direction of tips for the old guy?

I heard there are A LOT of bolts holding the front grill on. I haven't removed mine yet. I will be when I put a new grill on.... just haven't done that yet.

I’m putting my front clip on for the first time do you remember the bolt size where the fenders bolt to the cab? The holes are 1/2” but I assume I need room for adjustment

I noticed in this video you were paging thru a shop manual or some type of reference book. What was it? Thx Fred

That was most likely the book that came with the CODE 504 kit. Everything from the front cab mounts to the back of the truck has been completely customized from the CODE 504 kit.

Do you NEED that little gravel pan that bolts to the bottom of the radiator? Mine was welded on the rad support (camaro sub swap) so I cut the brackets to get it out.

@@ShowPhil ive thought about it for a while and I cant imagine its that important. The grill bolts to the fenders and all the way across on top, the inner fenders bolt to fender and cab. Technically it wont be AS solid but I don't think it will cause an issue.

@@ShowPhil Thank you first for attending me. I need the measurements that go from the hood latch to the center of the firewall panel. and from the inside of the screw-to-screw fenders across and into the center of the cabin firewall
