G'day from Australia. The young bloke did a good job getting it out of the shop. 👍 Memories in the making right there. I look forward to the next one.

Oh yeah! Fourth generation for that dozer... and Dozer Dom handled it like pro! Nice job on this whole build. Glad to see her ready to dig. Looking forward to that vid.

I'm working on a steering clutch my HD6G now. I got it out and apart and repaired without much of a problem. I'm putting the steering clutch brake drum back in place on the tractor and I'm having a heck of a time getting the bolts back in the drive flanges. Hardly any room for my hand in there and no luck when I try to hold the bolt with a pliers to get it in place. How did you get those bolts back in place and started? Thanks!

Hi Dennis, Where did you order your clutch packs from? Do you know if they make new brake bands? Thanks

Nice videos! What was the reason why you did this job? What was wrong that indicated you needed to do this job? Clutch wouldn't disengage?

The clutches would not disengage. Thank you for watching!

I saw that it takes two batteries so I assume it is a 24V system, I recently got one in ok condition. What type of batteries are you using
@mrandrewdennis1

It is a 24 volt electric system with a positive ground. I can’t remember what series the batteries are. Thank you for watching!

I'm doing the right steering clutch on an HD 11.... I can't get the clutch free of the flanges... Bolts are out ... Band is off .. I've tried moving the clutch handle ect.... Seems like spring pressure is holding it out

Not sure what you have going on. I wonder if you have some end play in the input or output. I would find it hard to believe the bolt are broken causing spring pressure. Please let me know if you get it out. And what is was?

@@mrandrewdennis1 I like my HD-6 too when it isn't broken. I did clutches 2 years ago and then changed the oil last spring only to be rewarded by water getting in the oil. I have video of mine posted on my page. She's a bit of a mutt - has 5 roller track frames, a fabricated hard nose and a turbo engine.
