Michele Dotrice was married to the very famous Edward Woodward. I say was, because sadly he's no longer with us. He was well known for The Equalizer, which Dotrice appeared alongside him in one episode. Not entirely relevant here, but just thought I'd add it.

@@geoffbanton4049 Henry thinks he's now the voice of the black generation. Why he feels the need to stoke up racial tension, is beyond me. Maybe he's just an attention seeker - who knows?

Well Elvis impersonated a Black man’s voice dancing and music made a good living out of it. 🤫

Great show. The episode where they go to stay with Betty's brother in the high tech house is incredible.

Michael has aged really well over the years considering this show is 50+ years old. He was great in it as the bumbling Frank Spencer. Forever imitated by many. Oooh Betty.

Lovely to see them reminisce about those golden years. I have to say the BBC should hang there head in shame for not providing this content

I recall going to a concert that MC was doing in Toronto back in the 90s and even then people in the audience were calling out "ooh Betty' despite it being a serious concert. My favourite live show that he did was "Billy"

Interesting to hear about the intensity needed to give that great performance. Random fact - Michael and his wife shared a house with John Lennon during the making of How I Won The War.

Raymond Allen claimed that he based Frank Spencer on himself. All I can say is it must be an exaggerated version of himself - surely no one in real life could do the things that Frank did.....like in one episode, claiming he was up all night flushing the mattress down the toilet(?)

ahhh I've loved this guy since the 70's as a child watching some mothers, right through his theatre music career, he is just a national treasure. Michael and Michele, thanks for some mothers, still laughing at it 50 years on.

Michael needs a more realistic lower bridge. Whichever dentist has ordered them from his technician has ordered teeth that are far too narrow. Ideally it needs replacing
