Unlike regular coffee, cold brew is steeped in the refrigerator for 12-15 hours. This coffee is sweeter, richer, and truly tastier than iced filter coffee. This method extracts fewer acids and oils, making cold brew smoother and more stomach-friendly, even for those with sensitive stomachs.
It's very easy to make this drink at home. Plus, it's convenient to have coffee ready in the fridge for several days ahead.
You can adjust the coffee-to-water ratio to taste. For some, a 1:4 ratio is very concentrated and should be diluted with water or milk 50/50. For others, a 1:4 ratio is their preferred coffee strength. If you want stronger coffee, you can steep it longer-up to 24 hours. But not less than 12 hours.
