I bought one of these SOA mounts a while back and am planning on putting rear steer on my sons TRX4 with it. I was equally surprised that there wasn’t much about in on KZitem. Thanks for making a video for us!!

Yeah no problem. I would say that when you get around to installing that mount it could be a pretty pretty tight fit to the axle. Like I said, I had to grind away or remove the lower half of the upper protruding deals on the Injora mount to get it to fit the axle🤷

I think for these LCG rigs SOA is the way to go. Save the CMS for scale/trail trucks.

Awesome video and alot of great info! I’m trying to do the same soa setup on my trx Axle on the injora chassis and I’m having trouble finding the correct size links for the front. What size links did you find worked well for you? I’m using the 313mm wheelbase links for the rear but the front links are almost too short.

I'm pretty sure that the links were a set of high clearance links from Amazon. A generic set for the scx10.2 I believe . That servo on axle mount did push the axle forward 5-6 mm. I did have to modify the chassis for the upper links by drilling a pair of holes.

Can't remember, maybe a small 3mm spacer, but I think I just mounted the links directly to the chassis....
