Josh Hartnett? I thought he was banned from movies after Pearl Harbor
@mgariepy42
4 ай бұрын
Why would you think that?! He was contracted to do 5 more films after that. After the contract expired he got the hell out of Hollywood and went into independent films. “I like flying under the radar. I don’t like being in the limelight.” He’s been a very happy man and well respected in the industry for 20+ years.

Josh Hartnett needs to do some dark gritty films, just to get some fans back...
@suncore598

He already done some dark, gritty films: Sin City, The Black Dahlia, 30 Days of Night, and there's the show Penny Dreadful which is dark and gritty in its own way.

suncore598 penny dreadful is brilliant ! :) .. 3rd episode should be out soon. Anyone hating on Harnett are dickheads. Lucky Number slevin was awesome, 40 days and 40 nights(I think is the name) was hilarious. He has proven with the Black Dahlia he can do serious and with Penny Dreadful also . There is always sad fucks with sandy vaginas I suppose

Ok firstly, haven't said this film looked bad at all and even liked the video so I'm not dissing and secondly have you even seen contagion?! and yes I know there are a lot of movies out there with similar plots which is fine, nothing is 100% original but I was just stating that this looks very similar to contagion, with its multiple overlapping storylines following the lives of different people which also focuses a hell of a lot on themes such as Love and relationships etc. and not just the disease. fair enough I cant judge it purely on the trailer but chill out dude!
@Logeezy89

This movie was soo poorly put together. The producer and director must have slept their way through the script. The jumping back and forth in time frames was a hack at best. Jumps that had no particular order, jumps that made no sense in direction or concurrent dialog. Scenes didn't match the storyline. Dreams that didn't fit, like they accidentally picked up a few pieces of other films off cutting room floor. Unnecessary conversations, maybe to distract the audience away from the lack of backdrops and scene sets. This film literally looks like it was shot on a 200 dollar budget. Although, I can't quite figure where they could have spent the whole 200, unless they had food delivered to the sets during break time. The lead up, was very weak. It looked as though, even the actors weren't surprised death was knocking at their door. This movie never really gave any answers. However, it never really asked any questions either, so I guess that part is deserving. The lack of interest watching this play out, can only be matched by its illusive mapping, and its vague ending that made me feel more like it was only a commercial break. I can honestly say, that the only person that I would ever recommend to watch this, is the guy that lives across the street from me that never stops playing his drums. The real plague that was taking over in this flick, was the plague on the careers of every actor involved in making this dollar store treat.

1.5 million is more than enough to make a good movie. I have seen stage plays filmed for a few thousand that were great because not only was the acting good, but also, the director knew how to lay out the scenes and knew how to tell the story. We have also all seen movies that broke the bank filming, yet still turned out to be a massive fail. Or the 500 dollar documentary that wins an award. How well the movies are filmed with the clarity of its pixel count plays little to no part on my reviews. A great movie on vhs is still a great movie. And yes, the actors and actresses can be great, but great acting in a terrible film, is still a terrible film. Imagine if you had a great story, but the guy who tells it doesn’t know how to tell it correctly. And, It don’t matter who they toss on the screen if the script is bad. You can usually count on atleast one of these things being a main reason for a bad flick. 1= the story, 2= the acting, 3= the director. And it only takes one of them to ruin a film. The amount of money spent to make a movie is only background noise to me. You cannot assess how great something is by the money spent creating it. When you also look at today’s cameras and the accessibility of mainstream equipment being able to digitally record at top tier levels, the (old) price excuse of actual “Film” and processing, just goes out the window. And we all know they don’t pay set designers and FX crews no where near enough. ...As for this movie, I was really wanting to dig it after seeing a few of the names they lined up to play in it. Sadly, not even they cold save this film. All in all, this is just my opinion. Somebody else may love it. The only time I find it more difficult to give my perspective on a flick, is when I have just recently watched something unbelievably great, then immediately try to watch something else. Sometimes it can shine a spotlight on the next movies shortcomings. I then take a break and come back later for a retake with fresh perspective. Sometimes they are just too bad to even come back and force myself to sit through it again. Which normally happens more with action flicks. You know those movies that have no story plot what so ever, so they pack as many explosions and fight scenes as possible to try to keep the audience invested in the scenes. I know this movie wasn’t Steven Seagul action flick terrible. But it wasn’t good in any form. And to be honest, I seriously think this movie here could have been good. I think the idea was there. I just feel they fell way short of getting it right.

@@iamthelomaxThis is novice screenwriter and director working on a shoestring. The story is not about the apocalypse. It’s about 3 love stories with terrific performances. Langella, Rowland, Rosario (who produced) and Hartnett, lovers of indies works that are pretty much shown only in select art houses. We loved it even with the flaws.
