Here is a quick and simple way to make sambal balado that you can pair with any sort of dish! I chose to do it with some fried beef lungs, or also known as paru berempah (marinated beef lungs).
You'll need:
- deep fry the premarinated beef lungs / paru berempah (200g)
- 2-3 pieces of kaffir lime leaves
- 3 tbsp sugar
- salt to taste
Blend / pound the following:
- 4 shallots
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 2 red chili
- 1 tomato
