I witnessed by brothers passing out parade when I was 6 in 1989. It was amazing to watch the dedication and discipline these officers displayed., not forgetting their patriotism. I saw a recent passing out parade. It was honestly a joke

I love how they used a classic German ww2 song for the march. Great inspiration. Also the style of women dancing like those of the BDM, Amazing. Shame it was all lost some years later.

Baie mooi. Ek was in Peleton 7 Orkes. Goeie dae. Ek dink ons peleton was die een wat meeste droog gemaak het en in moeilikheid was en wat gedreig was dat ons nie saam met res sou uitpasseer nie.

Dit was nog die Suid-Afrikaanse polisiemag, nie n vrot polisiediens soos vandag nie. Ek was in die polisiekollege in 1979, die eerste semester Januarie tot Junie. Dit was daardie tyd nog n trots om n polisieman te wees. As ek vandag na die polisie kyk. TRAGIES 😢

Bishop Lavis Police College Band were the best Orchestral band in Cape Town. They played at all our School functions. Kia ora and blessings from Aotearoa 🌹

Possible but it's more likely than not an ROC official, back in those days Taiwanese foreign military attaches would be present at parades like that.
