Brother, thank you so much for these videos and most importantly your noble mission and vision of uniting Blacks in the diaspora with our family on the Continent. Despite western media attempts to manufacture differences and division, many of us (Blacks in America) see a reflection or an extension of ourselves when we look at the faces of our brothers and sisters in Africa - indeed we are a people stolen out of Africa and who remain legal captives in a foreign land. Ironically, my first trip outside the United States was to Johannesburg, South Africa, although Nairobi was the first African city which fascinated my interest as a child and continues to exist. I have promised myself to visit beautiful Nairobi and other parts of Kenya soon. Notwithstanding, Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Durban all feel like home to me. I'm lucky as my best friend lives in Johannesburg so my expenses are practically non-existent. Upon my arrival in South Africa, there was a natural and instant feeling of being connected with the spirit and energy of our people. The approach-friendly populace accompanied by their warmth, humility, and generosity reminds me of a value system which underlie our essence, but lost among many of our people during our enslavement in America. South Africa is home for me (in my heart) as I travel there frequently. I will continue to share these videos on twitter and spread the word that our brothers and sisters on the Continent have extended an open invitation for our long-awaited return. Please continue to post these videos. One of my favorites was the video entitled, "I came from America to connect with my ancestral land." It was truly a brotherly dialogue and unequivocally genuine. I extend my thanks to you and Brother Phillip Scott for giving us another perspective on Africa and emphasizing our need to get to know one another during our 400+ years of separation. God bless!

Actually, it is good to see a road trip not when it is really raining hard but lite or after the rainfall. We get to see what it looks like after the rainy conditions. What happened to your aspect ratio and you are speedy my brother?
@AfrikanTraveller
4 жыл бұрын
Hey bro I did speed the Video it was too long😄. Aspect ratio was caused by the first video of me talking, was not aware until it was uploaded. I will try and shoot after the rains though most of the time it rains the whole way til am home.

If kikuyu people were good people, these places would have developed beyond recognition. But noone wants to go and be robbed by their neighbours. Sorry but its the truth.

On this one you're wrong, the tribal clashes of 90s people from different places were scared, nervous and no one was hurt. The place is full of different ethnics there's even a place called Nairobi ndogo due to the mass migration from Nairobi people. The haul trucks prefer this route. Moi is to blame for not showing interest in upgrade the road. Travel around the place you will come out shocked with a different mindset.
