Chris is so soft spoken, it's hard to believe that she was a disc jockey back in the day, but I will say her voice is soothing

Thanks for posting this PW episode. One of the best PW episodes! Real men, Active-Duty military, both had served in a battle area, thus the D.F.C. for the Marine Major, and the Silver Star for the Army Staff Sergeant. A.L. served in the Army and Roger Smith in the Navy. Hats off to Chris Noel! Attractive, soft-spoken and did not mug for the camera and waste time gibber-jabbering like most of the other Celeb guests. The first clue for "chassis" should have been "Frame". All automobiles and trucks start with the barebones Chassis which frames and attaches to everything else, from the axles/wheels to the Engine/transmission.

OK is it just me or is anyone else tearing up? from Vietnam to password, what culture shock for these brave souls and what they must have endured wondering if they would ever see their homeland again, and they have a sadness in their eyes like they have seen too much !!

I always knew Chris for being in a movie with Elvis. She lives in FL and was appearing at the state fair one year. I met her there and read about her after that. She is even a character in a comic book. She had a lot of things for sale at the state fair including the comic book.

no audience shots, that eliminates about 20 Betty White in the Audience comments.

I suppose possibly, as a second clue for "Twilight" (after "Zone") might be "Serling…" (Or possibly "Television.")

Chris may be cute, but words are clearly not her thing. She gave "morning" as a clue for "Twilight", and when she was given "shackles" as a clue, she guessed "house". 😂

I think for Flow," as in opposite I probably would have tried, "Ebb??...…"

Chris might not be exactly my type, but not only is she very pretty, probably no piercings (other than maybe ears) or tattoos (as very few women had back then)! Viva Naturale!

But not the last. George Peppard also never wore ties. That turtleneck look does NOT work for Roger Smith.

I don't know who Chris Noel is but she's smokin' hot in that mini-skirt. And if her business was radio that was the wrong business for her to be in; tv, motion pictures ... any medium where she can be SEEN!!

@@lawsonj39 - She probably thought the contestant said "shanties". He did not speak as clearly as he should have. Even using/reading the "Closed Captions" on this episode, there are some mistakes. The Announcer/narrator of the PW programs pronounced words well, such as when he said the word for the Blind folks in the audience. Many other folks (Celebs or contestants) do not / did not enunciate very well.

How many peasant villages did they end up burning down...?
@gusloader123
2 жыл бұрын
Only the ones used by and populated by the COMUNIST Viet Cong. By day they were "villagers". By nighttime, they were murderous communists that killed and tortured Christians and non-communists. Obviously, the military members from the U.S.A., South Korea, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand did not destroy enough of them because the communists are in control of Vietnam now. :-(
