Started cooking 7-8 years ago and I learned more from this guy on youtube than I did from Gordon Ramsey, Marco Pierre-White, or any other Michelin star chef. Very sad to learn he passed away , but watching this last video of his... It sure was a fitting one. Don’t worry about ‘authentic recipes’ or perfect presentation, ultimately food is something we are blessed to share and enjoy with the ppl we love and care for, as long as you have a general idea what you’re doing and put your heart into It, you’ll never go wrong. RIP Jack, you taught thousands of people a skill they’ll have forever, one they’ll even pass down to their kids... a wonderful gift to leave behind.

I’ve been watching Jack’s videos over the past couple of weeks and have learned that this gentle giant with a heart the size of a kitchen had passed. He was the real deal and poured his heart into everything he prepared, but more importantly, his heart touched so many passers-by through the restaurants while he was filming. We pray, learn, and teach in church of the foretaste of the feast to come. Guess who’s in the kitchen helping to prepare that feast?
