I'm bedridden from a horrific head injury. So grateful to be able to listen to these sermons.

Thanks for keeping this ministry alive. I listened to Chuck for many years, to his last sermon. I then moved to other ministers in Calvary but always missed his teaching. Now semi-retired I am back and hoping to start from Genesis in January 2024, God willing, and get the whole scriptures counsel again. Blessings

Oh, how I miss my Pappa Chuck!! He was like a second father to me as I grew up. I was blessed by God to be present at the beginning of Calvary Chapel. From the old original 4-square church to the " Little Chapel", then the Tent, to the "new sanctuary". He was my pastor from 12 years old, married us, dedicated all my babies, and conducted my Momma's funeral., He continued until his passing... and still is in my heart. It is so profoundly precious to see and hear him again in these broadcasts. How we need his direction in this horrific world that we are forced to live in. PLEASE, keep posting these on the internet, and especially on KZitem. I need to see and hear him again to touch my soul in ways, only he and Jesus can. Thank You from the bottom of my heart. I love you and miss you Pappa...until we meet again.❤❤

This servant of the Lord is not RIP he is LIP. Living in the presence of the Lord. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, Of course those who know him, and definitely Pastor Chuck knew the Lord and taught others to get to know Jesus.

@@karimanning9232 I appreciate that a pre Crucifixion authorship of James means you have to forget everything you've been taught about the Epistle until now. But you have to forget everything you've learned about James until now. Since James was written by a Disciple of Jesus during his Earthly ministry, any discussions about James the relative are irrelevent.

@user-md4hh5bk9h - because the word religion comes from the Latin root word religare which means to bind or bind up, but Jesus said that he has come to set the captives free, so to those of us who are bound in fear, or bound in disappointment of continuing sins, or bound by guilt and shame instead of a religion like the rest of the world offers, Jesus offers his life, his holy spirit, total and complete forgiveness to those who believe and to those who believe he offers the free gift of eternal life. Religions bind, yes sure Jesus / Christianity sets us free.
