I'm a long time Bucs fan, lived in Tampa for a decade. So, Go Bucs. Having said that, now that I get the chance to listen to so many players talk, I find I'm becoming as much a fan of players as teams. For example, after this, I'm definitely impressed by Justin and I'm gonna be watching and rooting for him, what a cool guy.....unless he's playing against the Bucs of course :-)

to be fair d hop is the only good receiver on his team and defenses double cover him like every play. defenses have to worry about theilen, jefferson and dalvin when playing the vikings so jefferson doesn’t get the same treatment that deandre does.

He was basically unranked coming out of high school but Les Miles offered him because both of his older brothers played and started for LSU. His high school tape was really good, I'm not sure why he was a two star. Either way he is a tremendous player and a great human. I hope he stays around for a long time. Congrats on the great, Jets.

he was rated so low bc of grades. Nobody expected him to make it to a D1 campus and he didnt attend a bunch of camps. He was for sure a four or five star talent coming out of high school. LSU didn't offer him just because his brothers played there.

@@shadyorphan420 O was head coach when he committed but he committed the last day when he qualified and LSU had an open scholarship to give out. I think Miles (and his brothers) put in the recruiting pitch years before and wanted him because the Jeffersons love Les. Justin was also really good friends with Les' son, he even used to stay over at the Miles house in high school. That's why I said Miles, I think Miles put in the work and then was fired, Orgeron got him in on the last scholarship. Either way, it worked out perfectly, imagine if he wouldn't have been able to display his abilities. The stars aligned for that 19 season.

@@nahh1782 It's not a reward that should be reserved for QB's. Herbert had a great season, no doubt. JJ's season is historical. Most receiving yards by a rookie ever. 7 100+ yard games, only got significant snaps from Week 3 on. And then his playstyle is unique, he fights for every single yard and has a crazy step that freezes defenders in place. It's not just a stats thing, he is special.
