I agree that I would have overlooked this pattern, but watching the tutorial has sparked an idea that I would like to make this quilt from a Kaffe Fassett jelly roll! Making a quilt in 4 quadrants makes it easily doable. Thanks so much for this video Donna!

At first this pattern looked bizarre. Then you took me through the step by step process of cutting, sitting, sewing et al..Finally the quilt, the finished product looks great with yellow background. I'm not a fan of the other quilt on the pattern. Thanks as always for showing us your true talents Donna.

I agree with the other comments that it looks like a difficult to put together but the way you break it down and walk us through each step, it’s definitely doable. Love the yellow fabric! It’s rare to find such a gorgeous yellow but you sure did. Looks like you have a bit of a tan. Hope you and Matt were able to get away for some relaxation and rest.

This is beautiful Donna! I prefer a colorful background as opposed to white or neutral. This would be great in aqua, blue and purple with hints of gray (think sea colors). I like quilts a bit bigger than throw size (I'm tall) so I would make more blocks and add a border. Thank you for another great video. 👍

I absolutely love the fabric you used! That yellow background is heavenly. I'll admit that I'm in a yellow phase right now and have very little yellow fabric. I may need to order a couple of yards just because it's so pretty. I missed you telling whose fabric design it is. I'll go rewatch the video. I'm not sure how much of the yellow you needed for that quilt, which I love! I think I'd make at least a twin or even a queen it would be such a happy quilt on the guest bed. I have to learn to make a couple of quilts for myself. I give them all away. My husband sleeps under the quilt I made for him, he loves it. Anyway you really made a gorgeous quilt, Donna. All the quilts you make are beautiful but this one speaks to me. Thank you for the tutorials you're the best!!
