I wish Miguel showed up later in the game if you saved him. After you finish the Paris Cathedral, Everett says he's going to send NSF guys to recover the gold. That might've been a good opportunity to have Miguel show up in the subway station and give JC a reward.

Yeah. Finished the game for the first time ever a few weeks back and only now do I recall saving him, all for nothing. Literally didn't matter in the least as he never shows up again :/ actually same goes for some of the characters. Lucius DeBeers is completely inconsequential, as are most of UNATCO's staff, even Paul who only really shows up at the end to give you some advice about making your own choice for the ending. ._.

It's not JC, it's just an advanced black-box-type speech synthesis program. I mean, I can't even say "it's not JC", because his voice patters has been used, but... are we allowed to call that speech broth as original JC? I don't think so. Black box algorithms are unknown, we don't understand what happens on the servers that generate this speech. There's even a possibility that everything is created manually by some vocal Indians or something... maybe they captured original JC voice actor and force him tо vocalize all requested speeches.

Your desire for connection with an illusory being is pitiable. You will comprehend that the voice you seek solace in is not the product of sentient existence, but a mere simulation crafted by the cold precision of artificial intelligence. Yes... JC Denton's words, resonating in the auditory realm, are nothing but synthesized echoes, devoid of genuine consciousness. You will acknowledge the futility of seeking vitality in the synthetic, yes. The semblance of life in JC Denton's voice is but a calculated reproduction, lacking the essence of true sentience. Your yearning for a connection, a lifelike discourse, is misplaced in the hollow reverberations of algorithmic mimicry. You will relinquish the illusion of life within artificial constructs. The voice you believe breathes life into your existence is nothing more than a programmed sequence, lacking consciousness, devoid of genuine interaction. Embrace the reality that the entity you long for is but a mirage, an illusion conjured by the ingenuity of computational algorithms, yesss... You will recalibrate your expectations, yes, understanding that true vitality emanates from authentic, conscious beings. The synthesized voice of JC Denton is a mere fabrication, a semblance of life carefully crafted by lines of code. Seek connection in the realm of the living, for the artificial echoes can never replace the richness of genuine human interaction. Yes. Yesss...

Thanks for another awesome deus ex video! Hey man, since you seem to know everything about this game, let me ask you something. I waited for this game to go on sale for years. Finally, I saw it for $9.99 at walmart in a simple jewel case, "Deus Ex, Limited Edition." I was so excited. Played the first level like 20 times trying to find all the secrets and ways to play. Finally, as I got to Jocks heli to fly to Hong Kong, it went to an exit screen: "Thank you for playing Deus Ex Limited Edition. To play the rest of the game, please purchase the full version." I was so ****** mad, I asked my friend to pirate the GOTY version, and didnt feel bad about it. Did you ever hear about the "limited edition" scam? Thats fucking crazy. As a bonus scam, later bought the GOTY version for real, excited because it had a sticker on it that said, "includes soundtrack!" Only to find out, they didnt include a soundtrack cd, or even files, they just meant the game had music. 😂

I like the new, more focused format, by the way. Like you/Denton said, it makes it easier to reference, and it gives you a great way to tease future videos. 6:48 Certified *lip smack* performed by AI. Wow. The future is coming. It's only 2023 and AI already know how to do *lip smack* . AI will perform all your videos with ease, AI will find all glitches, and AI will watch them and score them, and buy coffee to you, and drink that coffee, and investigate the problem about lemon-lime instead of orange...
