Mustard made me cry when he sang Creep. Some guy made a video tribute for patrice that ends with mustards Creep playing over a reel of patrice photos, baby to man. It's crazy how I can miss someone I've never met and have only known about for 2 years . I miss patrice . Rest in peace man

Ha! I've felt the same way and thought "I'm stupid for thinking this!" With the state of things it would be uplifting to talk to people who are fans of Patrice because at the very least we'd have a similar non PC sense of humor. I can't count the number of times I've tried to joke with people who got so easily offended over nonsense. It really would be a big help especially these days to reach out to people who get moved by the same comedy.

18:20 As a 34 year old man I'm tearing up to Patrice feeling sorry for Joe the homeless dude. I got caught stealing all my mom's change when i was like 8 so I could give it to a homeless guy that had no shoes and broke down in tears when she caught me. She let me take it and I gave it and I will never forget the feeling I got when he had shoes on his feet the next week. Probably wasn't because of my change but 8 year old me thought so. RIP PATRICE

I’ve tried to share these and I get pissed when they act like “it’s okay, I guess, kinda vulgar and loud” SMH they don’t see past the surface level of a “Shock Jock show” from 10-20 years ago, they think I’m nuts when they ask what I’m always listening to. I miss that man dearly... No one competes with him in terms of comedy, though... Just like no one competes with Carlin... He was in his own class... Norton is a fucking genius on the radio sometimes, way better than his standup... But even his best moments can't compare to O'neal, as much as I love jimmy (see the laugh compilations of him on youtube. priceless) Miss you P.O. If there's anything after this life, it's become a better and a funnier place for having you there. Long live the legend.

Idk how old you are but at 27/28 I remember growing up with Patrice as a teen.. from comedy central presents to touch crowd to Webjunk.. and finally elephant in the room.. No man can contend with Patrice oneal. His comedy is not for everyone but he certainly was the top echelon.

I have a lot of similar thoughts with Patrice, especially when it comes to women, but I've always kind of kept them to myself because you're kind of branded a sexist otherwise. Finding out about patrice helped me come to terms with my ideas and that they aren't so far out after all.

Another special after Elephant in the Room and I think he would have completely come into his own as far as stand up and be considered by everyone to be up there with Pryor and Carlin. For me Patrice is my #5. #3 being Doug Stanhope and #4 is Tom Segura/Bill Burr. RIP Big man. The universe just ain't the same without you.

Yes. You can just end up in the streets as a dude. Get a divorce and not stay on top of yourself, miss a couple paychecks and you’re out there. Ain’t nobody giving you a break as a normal dude. No family loans you money and you don’t get bill extensions if you have a record of doing the right thing. They expect that from you. You have to be a woman, child, junkie or mental case to get any help.
