Just finished changing mine on a 2015 . Dispite what people say, it is easier to change from the bottom.

I just replaced mine, getting to it wasn't the bad part. The bad part was feeling to make sure everything was right, only took about an hour (mid frustration beer).

If you already have the exhaust manifold out like I do, there is no need to remove anything else. Lol!
@mastrblastr1212
I'm pretty sure those are the camshaft sensors. I've seen multiple videos saying that. Here's how I figured this out. There are 2 camshaft sensors and 1 crankshaft sensor. The camshaft sensors will be near the airfilter box side. Front one is the intake and the one in the video is the exhaust. I'm not 100% on the cranks location but from what I read it should be on the passenger side behind the engine block near the transmission and you can only access it from below the vehicle or by removing the right front tire and siding. It had me stumped all day long because of this video saying this was a crankshaft sensor. Basically my 2016 jeep would randomly stall and die then refuse to start back up for 5 or 6 key cycles and then would try and stall out when accelerating. Another thing it would do is check engine light and traction light came on and stayed on. When trying to start the jeep the key would stay in the on position and keep trying to turn over on its own till I removed the key. I unintentionally replaced both cam sensors thinking one was crank and now that I realize that it makes sense why there's no change in performance and infact it's worse now because the cam sensors need to be reprogrammed and as far as I can tell there's only 2 ways. With a computer and the other removing both battery cables and away from batter place the cables together for hours or over night but that one isn't 100%. This one video really fucked me.
