I live in Thailand but I went a little more extreme in my "I am not particularly fond of people" quest as I moved about 60 miles west of Bangkok in a small village near Ratchaburi. I agree that the ocean view is amazing; that the cost of that place is awesome and seeing your personality makes me think you will like it much better. I/4 of the cost that the US charges without furniture or amentities. I love the "bum gun" idea. I got used to that in Bali. When I returned to the US, I installed bidets in each of my bathrooms. Dude thats cheap for the views and comforts! Hell ya! Just wrapped up overland expo this past week, youve got me hankering from when I was younger, working private sector...all the traveling, working EP/PSD for samsung, etc in diff countries. Though we are jabbed just tested, so quarantine for 10 days before can get back to working/teaching

yeah...it doesnt really show how high that rail is..it's like 4 and a half feet tall. I had vertigo at first but now Im used to the height. Im enjoying a ridiculously gorgeous sunset over the Island of Koh Lan right now....so it's worth it I think! :)

Those views! Can definitely imagine resting in that bed looking out over that view. Sea breeze heard outside. So good being that high up. Small but nicely laid out actually. Decent sized toilet/shower/closet walk area. Pools situated really well and another great relax spot. And that pool room!! I'll be bringing my own cue with me, so if I was there then more often than not you'd find me honing my game in that room for hours. Selling point right there!! 😁 Just have to decide if I want to be jomtien or city area now!

The beach looks like a 'no waves and no clear water' lake... BORRRRRING... and a tsunami would DESTROY all those shoreline pools and hotels. I'll pass and take (Tamarindo and Manuel Antonio) Costa Rica over this any day.
