Such graceful, GOD gifted talents!!!!! Ms. Patti's strong, outstanding, silky vocals, the Blue Bells carry the backdrop vocals very well!!!!! Patti, you have seasoned like the finest of wines, your voice is as beautiful as ever!!!!!! All of the ladies look lovely, a time when women were so graceful/classy!!!!!! Life is a Blessing, it's a beautiful day, nonetheless, I sure do miss those days when it was a norm, not an exception, to excemplify poise/dignity/self respect!!!!!!

The first song she did in this You Tube recording is not my favourite but.....I fell in love with HER version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow when I was a girl in Oxford in the UK. And for many years I didn't know WHO it was that had sung it, untill more recently that it WAS in-fact Patty LeBelle, I was going crazy trying to find it and had mostly given up, but not fully. So glad I found the version I loved embedded into my soul...Thank you Patty!

Oh, I like this. We all know Ms. Patti can belt it out, but there is something so beautiful when she sings in this understated way. I wish she would offer up more such as this….

Hinderless, the hater trolls every Patti LaBelle video spewing his hate and jealousy of Patti while always starting out how much he loves her. What a joke?

I wanna scream! this is all the footage of them! how much footage do we have of the supremes? way more than 15 mins. lol she never made it to edsullivan or hollywood palace or shindig hullabulu american bandstand . Who ever was their manager did a terrible job of getting them on tv.

This was the 1960s, first of all. If you didn't have major hits and / or a major record label like Motown to promote you, then you were not going to be featured on those programs. Patti & the Bluebelles had moderate hits early but by 1965, they were hardly breaking into the top 100. So if the public does not recognize your songs / name, TV shows are not going to book you, and if you were a hitless black artist in that time period, they definitely were not booking you.

They actually were on American Bandstand in 1962 when “I Sold My Heart To the Junkman” was out and that’s when they sang on AB.

they didn't have any hit records, rock & soul were not highly respected art forms at the time for mainstream.
