Her selfconsciousness makes her hosts also uncomfortable.....My god......she's been on talkshows for years and we hear the same rant all over again....."I'm so, so excited to be on television" ....at least she's real , which is a very seldom thing on U.S. television.......wave wave....bye bye........🖐🏻🤩
@brainscott8198
2 жыл бұрын
About that self-consciousness...yeah...she knows she's not the most beautiful woman in the world and who knows, maybe somewhere in her past she was treated as the ugly duckling by family members or high school friends and that iconic poet she became is a defense mechanism. I admire her success in rock music, but c'mon, she ain't gonna win no beauty pageant. At least she's not fat....and ugly. Ok, go ahead and rip me a new one...i'm out.
@PAULLONDEN
2 жыл бұрын
@@brainscott8198 Her self consciousness was not because of her looks ,of which she always seemed very confident ,certainly not in the 70's when she was a charismatic beauty (not in the conventional sense) . It was probably more being over sensitive to media hype , starting in the early 70s when she managed to get herself noticed because of her unusual charisma . Since the start of the 80's it seems she fucking bows to King Television , which she (especially) should know is run by brainwashing propaganda merchants .

@@PAULLONDEN "Charismatic beauty, but not in the conventional sense"???. that's the politically correct way, snowflake way of saying...She's not very pretty. And she got "noticed" by her first words on her first album, "Horses", in 1975: "Jesus died for someone's sins, but not mine." Controversial from the get go, charisma or not. Listen, I love her music..I'm a big fan since "Wave", 1979, with "Frederic", dedicated to her future hubby, Fred "Sonic" Smith from the group MC-5... "Dancing Barefoot", and the remake of "So you Wanna Be A Rock n Roll Star." But let's call it like it is...she's no prize beauty.
