Thank you. This is so poignant and it really touched me on all levels. Great artists and people. Love em both.

probably the best Neil Young interview i have ever seen, and that's due to Patti Smith, she isn't some brain dead interviewer just asking all the same old questions that have been written for them. Excellent.

Patti Smith and Neil Young are both totally unique individuals who deserve as wide an audience as possible. They are artists in every sense of the word and liv e their lives in a way that make every day on the planet a new work of art. Plus, they rock their asses off.

She is a good interviewer because she is a good listener, and knows her music history.

I seen Julianne Reagan interview Lol Tolhurst & that was a great interview. Juliette was in a hippy /goth band in the 80's in the UK. You may have seen the famous TOTP clip where she's meant to be miming but can't hear the playback? Her band 'All About Eve' and Lol used to be in The Cure. Anyway, at Lols book talk and signing, it just so happens Julianne was invited to MC and ask questions. One of the best interviews I've seen /heard. Much like this, it was obvious that Julianne was a huge fan of the Cure and her band heavily influenced. It was a brilliant night and she was so nice and approachable too. I digress. Ultimately Im sure an average interviewer would have asked rather boring questions.

Oh no!! you must dive in: NY is extraordinary, moving, deep and hugely variable. Patti Smith's early work was so alive; must confess I haven't heard much of her later work. Have to do the same myself.

The irony of Neil, who is the antithesis of Trump and supporters, has made an effort to save a USA company is something that would cause catastrophic 'cognitive dissonance' in their tiny minds. I love it.
