Patti is authentic. She is real. She lived a life of hardship mixed with glory & massively changing times. She remains steadfast, honest, & true. I can see, from some of the replies here, that a whole lot of people are dissatisfied with their lives. People who are happy in their own skins don't diss other people. Funny how that works. I

I won't write a whole thing about this but I just think it's such a bad take you did with that comment. It's very complicated standars that people have on famous women, whereas men have none of that. Female artists can be commited to self expression and self determination with or without makeup - it's not a barrier, and if that's how you see it then that's your problem.

Just saw a friend's FB post, reminding me that a very dear mutual friend died one year ago today. I got on KZitem to send her a link to a song but found the KZitem god's already had one mind. Imagine my surprise when the first words out of Patti's mouth told of her then-recent loss of a dear friend and dedication of this song to him. She sang it for Sam, but I'm sending it out to Scotty: we miss you dearly, brother.....who are not here but here.
