I saw Paul 2 weeks before he died in a club in Higanum, CT, he did not look great but was in good spirits in the second half of the show after getting good and warmed up. He played the Hell out of that guitar that night with mostly Back Street Crawler mixed in with some Free cuts. Such an influential guitarist, he will be heard forever. Tuesday Morning, one of the best jams, ever. 🎸

Z, The worst part was he was finally getting his shit back together but he had gone to far & his body could not handle the damage that was done. Such a shame for one of the best players in Rock . We miss him ..

One of the indeterminable questions, why the troubled and gifted find their way out in drugs and the ultimate crescendo to life so early. God, imagine what talent this guy could have exposed us to in his later years if he'd been allowed to survive. Bloody cruel - life is some days. No one played a guitar like Koss. Pick your favourite, declare your style of guitar playing, but no one played a guitar like Koss.

Poor Koss was heavily into heroin at the time. He could play, but could he write a melody? His mind seems to be focused on needles rather than music during this.
