This guy is really underrated. He's done some pretty good stuff as a solo artist, but his first band, from early in his career, is really worth checking out. The Beatles - they have some decent records.

He actually carried smoking pot, although more sporadically, until more or less four or five years ago. His second wife Heather Mills stated that he carried on smoking weed during their time together, and Paul self admitted he left pot for good only a few years ago

Very impressive...especially for a man in his 70's. What a career. Wrote half of the amazing Beatles catalog and then has an amazing multi decade long solo career with too many hits to count. No one will ever top that. NO ONE.

@@RyleeStrange It may be apocryphal, but supposedly John Lennon heard this song and thought it was so great that he decided to become active again and started work on what would become Double Fantasy. I'd like to see some documentation on that, though, since this is the exact kind of McCartney song that Lennon seemed to hate. But it's credible since Lennon may have been feeling more positive about things, as reflected in songs from Double Fantasy, and was able to relate to the sentiment in the song.
