Bassist follows very closely Paul's original bassline of the song.. Paul was and is an inspirational bassist player, he had incredible, non-obvious, yet beautiful bass solutions, and Something is one of the many examples. Musical genius and one of the greatest bassist in music history.

I was in the fifth grade when Abby Road the last album the Beatles would ever record together was released and I'll just bet that most of the fans here in the audience weren't even born yet and wouldn't be for several years, just amazing at how this music is kept alive from generation to generation.

For c George. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. Like the seed buried in the ground, you have produced the harvest of eternal life for us; make us always dead to sin and alive to God.Jun 15, 2021

When I saw Paul McCartney in 2002, he did this song, but he did the whole thing on ukulele and without the rest of the band. I actually kind of like that better. I think he decided to change it to how he's doing it here because he has gotten much more comfortable with his band. His 2002 tour was his first time performing with that band, and he's had those same musicians ever since. In a few years, if those musicians don't leave, he'll have had the same band for 20 years.
