Linda was and is a gateway into the past and the future and beyond. She was an icon and she was loved 🥰

I met Linda at Appledore rail station in 1984 and Met Paul in Hove a few years later when he was with a later wife (Heather Mills) I shook his hand and spoke to him, amazing couple of minutes.

Great footage.... Great band.... Interesting to see Joe English drum kit and how brilliantly he plays it.....also very interesting to see how Denny and Paul stood opposite looking at each other while harmonizing and once again to notice how important a musical playmate and companion Denny Laine were to McCartney. Laine is picking up on any thing McCartney is throwing at him and playing whatever instrument he has in hand, that's pretty awesome....

This is really nice... thank you, Back To The Egg. One thing: it's honest -- no sound enhancement -- and the audio is synchronized to the video -- wow; secondly: the black & white footage adds "vintage-ness" to this video. Imagine, in four years -- give or take a month or so -- this will be fifty years ago.

8:39 The song is Silver, one of Denny's songs that was recorded while Wings was still together (although it seems Paul doesn't appear on the recording), and was released on his solo album Japanese Tears.

There was a sad quote from Steve Holley in ‘79 where he said they were having a particularly long and difficult night session when Paul said something random and silly and then said “John used to say that a lot.” And then stared off a thousand miles into the distance with the saddest look on his face. Steve said the problem was clear: “God, he missed John. All the time.”

Would of LOVED to have Seen Paul perform LIVE in the 70's. Well, one night my kid brother and my buddy asked me if I wanted to go see "Paul McCartney and Wings" at "Madison Square Garden". This was May 1976. They had no tickets. They were going to try and get them from scalpers. I told them their never going to get in. And besides my wife was 8 ½ months pregnant. Well, they both got in....

My comment is, largely, unrelated to this video...and I'm not even sure why it occurred to me, but...I wonder what Paul sounded like when he was crying following Linda's death. It's odd...I can picture the other three Beatles, crying, but it's harder for me to imagine Paul in the throes of grief.
