Loved Hilda. Corrie wasn’t the same without her. R.I.P Jean… the best!

Yes and she never felt happy once Bernard Youens was gone. She felt that the great trio , Stan, Hilda and Eddie Yeats just couldn't be matched and said in interviews she couldn't see how her character could develop without the other two.

They could’ve shown a more memorable clip, like the second honeymoon one - woman, Stanley, woman! or one featuring her singing, or her legendary malapropisms - too damn suppository, now get out there and insert yourself! Of course we all loved Paul, but he’s interrupting Jean a bit here, maybe he was just starstruck lol.

It was to do with the price to show the clips, the ones you speak of, cost too much to use, Paul also regularly spoke of how star struck he was on this episode. She was his idol, I was at this recording.
