Brian could & probably would tag along & interview anyone in any walk of life, trucker, factory assembler, pizza deliverer, whatever and make them feel and look like the most special people on earth doing the most interesting things.

A gem of a documentary. Brian has all the instincts to make these work. And Paul, what can you say? He's on that Mount Rushmore of vocalists along with Freddie, Robert, and very few others. I'm beginning to think Brian is on that mountain too.

Sadly I cant say this about Paul Rogers. Gigged with him and he was pretty unfriendly. He also could have been having a bad day.

A few things, a gentleman like Brian "forgot" mentioning: 1. First of all: the biggest Muddy Waters fan in the world is Angus Young. But since Angus lives the way "dont ever meet your heroes" he never played session like Slash and the likes who I'm sure they are not the big blues fans Angus is. 2. Shortly before Kossof died he anounced a tour with a band called AC/DC. They were even waiting on the airport for him to start on the road. 3. His mate and third drummer of AC/DC the late great Chris Slade was Firms drummer for all two albums. Thanks a lot.

Where did Rodgers get that voice? I saw him with a cigarette! Did he take lessons? He would have had to do it very young because he was very good as early as Free. I don't think lessons were in the cards. He was just given a gift naturally and kept using it. What a gift.

Paul Rogers married 1984 Miss Canada winner and fitness expert Cynthia Kereluk. She hosted a health and fitness TV show called Every Day Workout for several years starting in the mid-1980's. They were living in Canada last I heard.

I had tickets to see Queen live at the Stanley theatre in Pittsburgh. Got there and a sign on the window of the ticket booth said refunds available. Queen will not being playing tonight. Freddy Mercury has laryngitis. Kansas will be replacing them. Kansas has one album out I think, maybe two and we had never heard of them but Styx was an opener so we stayed. We all bought Kansas albums when we got home and were glad we stayed. I always wanted to see Bad Company but that never happened. I worked as an IATSE stagehand all of my life and a lot of concerts but no Bad Company ever. The last time they toured the states, maybe 6 years ago I was going to go but learned the Mick Ralphs would not cross the pond anymore. So I didn't go. Bad enough Boz was gone. I'm sure it would have been good but I really wanted to see Paul and Mick and it just never happened. 😔
