EIGHTIEESALWAYS the original is a very catchy song from a Disney movie 🍿 🎥 in the south, they buried it in obscurity cause it’s plagued with controversy of racism. That’s why you don’t know about it. I remember it from childhood before everything got so politically correct.

There is nothing offensive about the lyrics of Zip A Dee Doo Dah. Just because it comes from a problematic movie doesn't make the song racist. It's literally a song about having a good day. That might be somewhat awkward when being sung by a former slave man in the 1946 movie Song of the South (though if you actually watched the movie you would realize that he was singing the song during a fantasy sequence with no connection to the plantation), but when sung by Paula Abdul it has NOTHING to do with slavery.
