Deze twee opeenvolgende races zal ik niet snel vergeten. Was echt geweldig.

@@Iyehoak well the Russians have had a lot of doping incidents in the past (including Kulizhnikov). So he thinks the Russian is cheating. Myself, I believe in second chances and until proven guilty Kulizhnikov is just the best speedskater ever on the 500m. You can also just judge by his technique that he is just phenomenal, a real pleasure to watch.

@@liuxoB , that's true and not true. Yes, Kulizhnikov is a fenominal skater with a beautiful technic. On the other hand: he is been caught using doping three times. In his youth, during his first prof year and in 2019 AGAIN. I do believe in second chances, but he is not trustworthy. Not a single bit. He is a cheater.

@@1106Winter not 3 times, just once according to Wikipedia, when he got banned for 2 years until 2014. The second and final time, which does not really count, he was confronted with doping was in 2016. however, the amount of research on the drug here (meldonium) was unclear and the drug was made illegal just before it was found in his blood. The amount of meldonium was below the allowed threshold that was set by the anti doping agency at the time, so he was reinstated in the team after he was temporarily suspended during the research. In my opinion anything goes as long as it's below the allowed limit. I couldn't find anything about doping cases after this.

@@liuxoB , during his youth (1 time), during his first prof years (2 times) and after that the whole meldonium affair yet had to begin. That's three times in my opinion. Apart from that he's Russian. It's too bad, but being a Russian sporter makes you by definition a doping suspect. That's a bold statement, but the truth nonetheless.

@@1106Winter I cant find anything other than the case where he got a 2 year ban and the meldonium case. None the less, he has been tested clean since 2016, and I know him being Russian does not help, but still. I think people can change and already 4 years have passed
