I had tickets to this concert, mostly b/c i wanted to see Pavement. Me & my friends dragged our feet getting to Golden Gate Park on the day they played and I missed their set. 20+ years later, I finally know what i missed.

No More Kings highly underrated Pavement number. Cover from School House Rock! tribute album which is a classic in its own right.

I actually think Stephen was improvising or something, he starts off with the 'pigs...' lyric and then goes into...that. It's rather fun but I prefer the Geddy Lee line being in there. Here it sounds more Pixies for some reason.

This is actually from the San Francisco concert on June 15, 1996. The New York City (Downing Stadium, Randall's Island) concert was in 1997. So you just need to update the year. Thanks for sharing.

This whole show was fucked due to the sound guy. I saw the Foo Fighters the same day and the sound was all over the place. Can't blame Pavement here.
