Professional appraisal like the professional musician who valuated Vick's guitar ar 70k and rick got 20k out of it. Ricks mistake on the guitar dwarfed the other "substantial mistakes" made by Chumlee where he'd only lose them somewhere in the range of 300-1200$ 🤣

Did you watch the Vic Flick episode? Because Vic Flick has plenty of musical chops. The fact that it sold for $20k at auction could have been any number of reasons. Wrong clientele for the auction, wrong auction house, economic climate for collectibles like guitars or amps. I had an original 1966 Fender Deluxe Reverb in fantastic shape. Looked like you just bought it today. It was appraised at and an offer was made for $10,000 by a collector. I decided to hold on to it thinking the value would just go up. 2 years later it was worth about $4000. Today around $3000. The market had dropped. And being that particular guitar was appraised at $70k by his own guy not the $90k it was listed for just says Rick got greedy.

idk, spending Five bills on that many comics realizing you can get just over 200 for just a handful and most likely organize the remainder into about 15 smaller box's to sell for even $20 to $25 ea box. Does not seem like a **Significant** Loss for the shop.

Not to worry, all the losses would be tax wrIte-offs anyway, costing less come IRS time. Just like professional tennis players and sports people, their fines they get for bad behaviour are write-offs as the fines aren't issued by the government, reduces their tax burden in that Country, no doubt.

I'm here to clarify a few things: 1. Zirconia is often manmade, but it is a natural material formed in nature from zirconium oxide. 2. Zirconia is NOT a lab-grown diamond. They are different in many ways. Calling them a substitute may or may not be a stretch (zirconia is hard, but not as hard as a real diamond). 3. The only difference between synthetic diamonds from a lab and real diamonds is the formation of the crystals under extreme magnification. They are, for all intents and purposes, the same. Same hardness, same physical properties, same appearance.

Since when is $450 for that strong ox a substantial loss? That's about half my paycheck pretax and even for me it would suck but it wouldn't be a substantial loss and again on the comic books a loss of $300. That's quite offensive to say the least that both of those losses together are even considered a substantial loss for pawn stars.

I looked at him and he pulled the oh people dont trade these cards as much.....so I took it over to the one dirrectly across from that and sold it to him for 1/3 the price :-) $1000 in my pocket, for a $3000 doller card LOL Dont try.. "I didn't wanna bust your bubble"? How darn considerate If that guy is axeable, axe him now or give him a broom and a mop and tell him to come to work and clean up after hours Take the loss out of his pay, but if he's a partner, good luck with that heh heh Pawning is an interesting business, I must say, Shysters trying to take shysters (Not a negative connotation here) Good show, entertaining, educational and fun The trick is to make both the pawnshop and walk-in happy Not easy sometimes and risky for both Not all pawn shops are like yours which is open to audience scrutiny
