Not really surprising. Same thing happens at car dealerships. If they see you're about to walk away from the deal, all of a sudden they'll offer a discount. If you walk out, they make no money..but if they have to sweeten the deal a bit for you to sign, they'll do it. Corey was probably gonna list that Guitar for $75k or something but is always gonna low-ball if he can get away with it.

Well, pawn shops also overprice their goods. I have seen many items in pawn shops that were full retail price or higher. Also, as the price of electronic items in regular stores goes down over the years, the prices for those same items in a pawn shop stays stagnant.

Absolutely bang on about lindbergh my late wife worked at a pawn shop aged 13 to 16 in Dundee West port agnes told me in the basement was full of fur coats ,expensive watches ,gold the shop was full to the gunnells lol a lot of customers were very well to do but needed money quickly 1965 to 68. Wife loved her job as a kid.
