Mr. Kevin Costner I have so much respect for you. Your speech was beautiful and had me in tears laughing. God bless you and your family and thank you for saying that you would continue making westerns❣️❣️❣️ God bless you also for making the western life come back into this computerized mess of a world that we live in. People need to see and understand what it was like because I believe that we are headed back that way in so many ways. God bless herhomesteaders as they find ways to live much like they did back in the western days. Thank you so much for the way you speak. You had me seeing everything you were talking about and in tears laughing at your antics as a kid. We had two horses for my daughter and I love them both and I felt their love for me as well. I am a paraplegic due to MS, but I would get in between both horses (one was six hands and one was a little over five hands tall) but being between those two horses, I felt such peace❣️ they would rest their face, one on each shoulder and just breathe. I never got to ride but my daughter did and that was the most important to me. Some people say horses are just stupid animals. Well, I know for a fact that they are extremely intelligent. How could they not be they are made by God❣️ Mr. Costner. Thank you so much and God bless you. Please stay well and keep speaking. It makes a huge difference ! A very positive difference. I didn’t know you made this beautiful Music! I will be checking that out❣️ Sincerely , Tammy Summerfield, From Central Florida

I don’t hunt. Never have. I did some shooting once and I was good but I never thought about killing anything but that speech was interesting and certainly opened my eyes. The bit that affected me the most was the song about the last time. My older brother who is 72 and until recently always looked like a Kevin but lately his health has taken a dive and now he is a frail old man and that song hit the nail on the head for me as it is just how I felt when I last saw my brother who is in the last stages of departing this planet. I’ve liked Kevin as an actor all my adult life and love his songs and his movies and even though I don’t like violence I’ve really enjoyed Yellowstone as it is unpredictable and I like that. Thank you Kevin (even though my chances of you reading this are similar to me winning the lottery and like hunting I don’t participate) thank you for such a moving and interesting speech and being true to who you are. May the Lord bless you richly.

Thank you Park Cities Quail! This is a very special speech by a very sincere hunter! He's sharing thoughts and feelings that men rarely share with women. But we know all about them, that's what we think about when all that bumping around starts, on those early, dark mornings. That's when we get up to fill the thermos bottles, and double check to make sure you haven't forgotten anything. I have a very dear friend that I call brother, and he calls me sister. Our friendship has been going on for forty -six years now. He's been bumping around in the dark for years, all alone. Although he's been married several times, he's just recently found someone who starts the bumping around before he gets to it. She fishes, drives the boat, and turkey hunts, but these are skills she has only learned since they married. A while back he was telling me a story about her helping get the boat ready for a fishing trip. And I couldn't help but tell him how great it was that they had met. I said, "you know all these years you were looking for a woman like me, and just didn't know it." He looked at me and smiled, "I guess you're right." So thank you for letting us share some of Mr. Costner's hunting stories! That's the other thing good sporting women do, is listen, understand and laugh at the tales hunters tell!❤

I’m starting to appreciate that most of the people I most admire came out of nothing. They made themselves. And they are humble. You have to be creative to think you can succeed when you’ve lived a time without much. It forces you to think around those obstacles in your way. Just my thoughts. Mr. Costner’s hunting stories made me think of my sons. I taught them about hunting and that “eat what you kill” rule. They’re grown now and tell stories about when they were younger. It’s safe to say, they didn’t always obey that rule. As their Mom, I knew. I just hoped the guilt would teach them better than I could. It did. I’m pretty proud of all three. Good men.

Kevin, you are the best, the most intelligent speaker I have ever heard. When I want to think of the better times, and the tougher times of life, I go back to this speech. My Daddy was a great quail hunter too. He just didn’t stay great all his life. Your song, makes me cry most of the time, but, sometimes I can actually smile with parts of it….But Thank You Kevin, for a wonderful speech and a beautiful song …

I’ve replied to this before and I still am just as amazed by this, Kevin is a compassionate, sincere human being, he reminds me a lot of my father. If there were only more men like Kevin, this would be a much better place to live.
