Love it. Isn’t it the best to know there’s a good meal waiting for you down the road, puts a bit of pep in your step. Glad you’re having a good time, enjoy every minute. 🙏🏻🥰

Yes!! Especially the pie and ice cream, haha! Although that omelette was amazing too. Nothing on trail will ever be better than fresh hot food served on a plate! I wish I was still out there. I am sweltering in SA along with you. This heat is tough after 70’s almost everyday in CA. I’m setting up an above ground pool today 😃 Love and hugs! 🤗😘

Nice! I camped at mile 98 last year, all alone. I think it was my best night sleep of Section A. Got up early and hiked for trail magic the following morning at Barrel Springs. You were probably in Warner Springs by then. I'm looking forward to seeing how the stretch from Warner to PVC was. If I'm strong enough I may try and tackle that this Fall.🙏 You're videos help me keep the PCT dream alive!🌻💛

I ended up sleeping in the gully that ran through the site. It was an interesting pitch but I felt cradled by the banks on either side of my pad, haha. I sure will hope and pray you will be more than ready and strong enough to hike this Fall. I’m so glad you can relive your hike a bit by watching our hike! 🩷🙏🤗

Stagecoach is also useful for the Borrego feeder trail of the California Riding and Hiking Trail, which skirts the hills to the east. That CRHT spur trail is part of the San Diego Trans County Trail. The main California Riding and Hiking Trail comes down to the highway a bit west of the PCT and Scissors Crossing then skirts the highway below the San Felipe Hills rather than climbing them. There are water sources on that route. It crisscrosses the PCT at Eagle Rock and goes right through Warner Springs.

Thank you! We were cruising for sure. So happy to finally find a suitable place to camp but also proud to have hiked 21 miles so early on and actually feeling great. So much for sticking to low miles though 🤣

Hi Melissa! I did a two week section hike. I’m back home in stinking hot Texas, haha! I have big hiking plans coming up and will be doing a video after this series is done. Are you hiking or just visiting Julian? Either way, have a blast! 🌻🤗

Unfortunately just a few days due to work (and coming from FL) I was super excited about the weather though, it has been beautiful! Looking forward to your next announcement!

Totally missed the hiking part lol I did the first 20 miles Wednesday down to the creek, yesterday the climb to the Lake but taking time out due to a head cold (I think the stress/travel/lack of sleep did me in) my goal initially was Julian for Memorial Day but will now be driving instead..will have 4 days left to decide if I want to try another night from the 20 mile mark 🙃

They are the most common snake species that I’ve encountered. Rattlers much less and that’s fine with me 😅
