Here are PEAB and Trafikverket using Hägring to study how a planned bridge looks from different locations. The bridge will span Indalsälven at Lit, Sweden.
Using Hägring AR allows you to see, on location and at full scale, how the new structure will fit with reality. To see the structure from a new position or angle, you just take a walk and look.
Hägring allows you to explore and study planned construction projects early in the design phase, long before any physical work have started.
The 3D models were exported from Gemini software in a geolocated IFC format. The SWEREF99 reference system was used for expressing global coordinates.
To load a model into Hägring you just need to:
upload the model to the Hägring webpage
start Hägring on site
Using the model's global coordinates and Hägring's high precision GNSS hardware, the model will automatically be shown at its correct physical location. The placement precision is down to 5-10 centimeters. (edited)
