I'm starting the Peak Phase of my Ironman 70.3 Morro Bay training, with just 21 days remaining until the big race. This phase typically kicks in about three weeks before your primary races. The goal is to strike the perfect balance between pushing hard and allowing ample rest to ensure peak performance on race day. If you're familiar with periodization training, you'll know I've completed the base and build phases and am now gearing up for the final taper phase in the week leading up to the race. In this episode of Pursuit of the Podium, I show you my training regimen for week one of two weeks of peak training.
