@@dadnewdjent7592 Thanks! I would have LOVED a 120/120 but, quite honestly, it would have been extreme overkill, haha. This 60/60 is brutally loud already through two 4x12s.

@@low_e_music yes and bad for your back! 14 tubes 55lbs! lol. The 50/50 is not bad but el84s dont have the same kind of hit. Love your channel.

Sounds great, I love the Rockmaster. Btw, Andy LaRocque revealed in a recent interview that they used the JCM 800 with V30s for rhythm and the G & K 250ML + Tubescreamer on the leads on "Them".

Enjoy hearing these. I still have my FJA modded Rockmaster and a Peavey Classic 50/50.

@@mfergel Sweet! I have heard the FJA modded ones and they rock. Mine is modded as well but only 3 caps were changed out. It smoothed out the mids a little bit and lowered the bass frequency adjustment.

@@low_e_music Yeah, the FJA makes it sound much fuller and you actually find yourself turning down the gain.

Same here! My Rockmaster was one of Jerry's first he modded. I have ran mine for 20 years through several tube power amps: Carvin, Mesa, Peavey, but the best ever was my Steve Fryette built VHT Two-Ninety-Two. I currently run it through a MosValve 962. It's OK but not amazing. The 962 is a bingo hall amp compared to the VHT.

@@tonyvermeer7409 Those Fryette power amps are absolute beasts! Would love to have one but they're outside my budget. This 60/60 has really impressed me though.
