These guitars are so underrated. I love the T-series guitars, and the neck pickup on the T15 is simply ideal for blues wailing.

Man, thanks for the little nod to the big jam medley at the end of Sabbath 1, always been one of my favorite pieces of guitar playing. I've read that Iommi actually recorded that album on a Strat. I just bought a T-15 at a Cash America pawn, swindled those scurvy sheister bastards down to $130.00 and a layaway plan from $150.00 because the D string was wound wrong and i told the guy at the counter the tuner was broken. He totally bought it.

Always nice when it comes together. That's a good sounding axe. Peaveys are somewhat underrated I think.

How are you doing my son? LOL, That comment was great. Man, that axe sounds amazing! I knew that son of a bitch would come to life for you. It sure did! I really have to get one! The metal nut is, of course, superb! Isn't it great that Peavey did that!!!?? Why they stopped....who knows. You are correct about the micro-tilt too. It is so handy when you do need it. When you do need it and it's not there.....it really sucks. lol Great axe my man and the pickups sound amazing!

I had one for a week in '83. Twang city wasn't cutting it for metal through my Sound City 120 MkIV, but never say never...you have that short scale T-15 rocking like I couldn't.

Between the first video for this guitar and this video the guitar sounds 1000x better. I've been looking at one and after hearing this ill probably go pick it up

That's not the T-30. The T-30 is nearly the same as the T-15 except that it has 3 smaller single-coils like a Strat. A LOT of other USA Peaveys have that splitting-humbucker feature though. My view on it is that if the PLAYER is versatile, then the guitar will sound versatile. However, there is no question that on the splitting-humbucker USA Peaveys, you have more sounds available to you.

Ooooh. You might want to check & see if the truss rod works anymore. When I got mine the original truss rod was broken so I had to get a new neck. But w/the new neck it's amazing! Hopefully your's will be fine.

Lol I'm not his son by any means. However I do agree with most of what he says because it DOES actually make sense, not only as opinions but as facts. But I digress. This guitar along w/the Peavey T-30 were meant to be student models after all, so if we want more there are always some of their other guitars :D

Since you're already responding, a 2nd little question; Isn't the T-30 more versatile as it has the switch between single coil and humbucker? Why is this one better when the 30 has such a unique, sound changing effect?
