Talk about literally being on fire. Peja Stojakovic scores 14 in the first, 0 in the second (1 field goal attempt), 18 in the 3rd, and 5 in the 4th (2 for 3) against the Lakers to finish with 37 points an astounding 7 for 11 from 3 with defenders draped all over him. All in all, Peja shot 12 for 18, 7 for 11 from 3, and 6 of 6 from the free throw line.
Peja has to be one of the best off-ball movers in NBA history. Let me explain. When Peja received a screen from Vlade Divac and Shaq switched onto him, he immediately hit Vlade in the post, faked a cut to the basket, and by the time Shaq blinked he was behind the 3-point line. Bang.
Peja's son, Andrej Stojakovic, is a top 40 player in his high school class and recently committed to Stanford. If he is even a fraction of the player his father was, that's an accomplishment of itself.
