I have videos of solid 20 footers off the point from 15 years ago, we sheltered behind that building to get out of the wind. Yesterday, the Central Maine Shelf Buoy recorded 30' waves at 9am. Prayers for all the property owners and fisherman dealing with the damage.

Thank you for posting these! I spent every single summer growing up down on these rocks and in pemaquid/new harbor area. Hard to see it beat up like this.

This is so disheartening to see. I spent time at Pemmaquid and went to that lighthouse this summer. I hope the state can rebuild after these floods and heal after the recent shooting.

So he thinks property prices won’t suffer after these storms. What planet is this guy from? They will, because only fools with too much money would ever consider these homes. You build next to the sea on unsound foundations and you might as well burn the money.
