I have several different Euphorbia and i can't begin to tell you how many people are always telling me to be careful with my cats and my eyes! It's silly. Like you said, as long as i'm not dumping it in my eyes, i'll be fine. Have been for quite some time. My next aquisition is going to be a pencil cactus so i'm doing my research. Thank you! I had never thought of training them. Yours is gorgeous! Love the weeping look. I've been getting into rhipsalis because of the hanging/weeping nature. Thanks again for this! I have subscribed and hope to learn a lot more!

I've a pencil plant that looks similar to the first one pruned. Thanks for sharing bonsai information, because I'd no idea how to prune. I've enjoyed your style of teaching and I'll continue to follow ur site. C.

It's really not a forest fire. Our Canadian summers are just so short that we all BBQ at once.

Hi mom New Brunswick, Canada. I have brought my pencil cactus moving home from NH. Have you ever tried to branch out a cactus? I have a 4.5 foot one and would like to promote more stalk branching. Her name is Vivian, she is a beauty

I have had the best success with as minimal pruning as possible...and very little success promoting branching with pruning. Good luck with Vivian!!!

Help! I was given two huge cuttings, let them callous, then proceeded to plant them. However, I realized that I needed to prune more at the base, then hastily planted them without letting them callous again. I can remove them from their spots, or, what do you recommend?

I have never left mi e to callous and they root well in soil or water. Y9u should be just fine.

@@AmarettoEyes Im in Connecticut, and they were grown indoors...so no blooms for 7 years now. I dont know why that is "LOL" funny, unless you are mocking me. Part of the fun is growing trees/plants from around the world and keeping them all alive against all odds. Atypical growth patterns should be expected for these "foreign" species. 🤔😉🤭

I’d be more apt to poke my eye out with a pencil cactus than get the juice in my eyes. Hehe Sorry YT is giving you a hard time about music copyrights. I say just use Colin’s music, no more worries. By the way, cool wave transitions between your takes 🌊 I appreciate you, brother
