The season finale in Beaver Stadium for a fine, fine football team and a season that put together a home schedule that may never be topped by another PSU football team as far as excitement goes. This game was the battle of the heavyweights in the Big Ten in 2005, for the top spot. The two teams came in with identical records at 8-1. The winner takes home at least a share of the Big Ten title, and Penn State was hitting on all cylinders at this point in the season. The players, the fans, and even the TV network could smell blood in the water for the Blue and White. It was senior day for an exceptional group of classmates who were responsible for putting the Nittany Lions back in the national conversation. And all of the stars showed up for this one. Robinson, Butler and Hunt were on a mission all game, while Posluszny, Hali and Lowry played out of their minds on defense. Enjoy this game folks; it was an instant classic of a performance, against as solid of an opponent, that any team could hope to handle, as well as Penn State handled Wisconsin in this one.
