I met Su Pollard (the voice-actress for Penny Crayon) when she did a show in our town! :D She's awesome, really nice....completely bonkers.....but really nice. Penny must be living the high life, she could draw money for crying out loud!
Remember watching this along many other cartoon greats in the 90s before Primary school in the Mornings :)

@msimplay I doubt the word 'bollocks' is in it, but the cartoon WAS created by Maddocks, who illustrated and part wrote a Jim Davidson book called 'Too Risky'. This caused some embarassment when I was about 12 and found it in my parents' bedroom, after spotting the 'Jimbo-like' cartoons. I think the embarassment was mainly on my parents' side for having a book by Jim Davidson in their possession!

From a 70s cartoon. Simon and the land of chalk drawings or something like that never seen it before I was born I never saw any repeats because in the 90s they did repeat older cartoons but never noticed any Simon repeats, but read that Chalkzone came from that.

@DrTelf Which would be quite odd, since that word means nothing to Americans. We could quite happily purchase and eat a breakfast cereal advertised as "Delicious sugar-frosted fruity Bollocks!" The only complaint would come from dentists worried about the effect sugary Bollocks would have on children's teeth. Seriously, I am trying hard to imagine why anyone would even crack a smile at that last sentence.
